एक दिन रूपा बगीचे में खेल रही थी। तभी उसके पास एक तितली आ कर बैठी। इसके पंखों में हीरे जड़े हुए थे। तभी तितली उड़ चली और रूपा उसका पीछा करते करते जंगल में निकल गयी। कुछ देर बाद रूपा को एहसास हुआ की वह भटक गयी है। तभी तेज़ तूफ़ान शुरू हो गया और रूपा रोने लगी। अचानक से रूपा के पीछे लगे पीपल के पेड़ की डाली आगे आयी और उसने रूपा उठा कर कहा की उसके रहते रूपा को डरने की कोई ज़रुरत नहीं है। जब तक तूफ़ान थम नहीं गया, पीपल के पेड़ ने रूपा को अपने अंदर छिपाये रखा। तब तक रूपा को ढूंढते हुए सैनिक आ गए और उसे अपने साथ महल वापस ले गए।
